Cheap Cigars Not the Same as Good Cigars on Sale

The term "cheap cigars" is a misnomer. Let's set the record straight right away. There are no good tasting cheap cigars. Cigar making is both a skill and an art. A good cigar is contains quality tobacco that has been properly aged and has been hand rolled by a craftsman. A cigar that is cheaply made is the exact opposite. It contains poor quality tobacco that was quickly aged and was likely assembled by machine.

A good cigar will burn evenly and smoothly and will provide an excellent smoking experience. Cheap cigars will burn poorly and taste worse. There are some things in life that simply can't be had cheaply if one wants comfort, enjoyment and quality-  underwear is one, cigars are another.

That said, a good cigar can be found at a cheap price by the savvy buyer. That, my friends, is a difference both important and key. Never confuse an inferior product being sold at a low price with a quality product being offered at a reasonable price. If you can't learn to make the distinction, you're condemned to a lifetime of nasty tasting cigars, not to mention ill-fitting, uncomfortable underwear. So where does one look for a good cigar being sold at a reasonable price? Here are some tips.

Learn what types of good cigars are out there. Sample a few or more than a few. Develop the discerning taste of a real cigar smoker. Educate your smoking palate. Once you know what your smoking and why, you can start looking for those cigars on sale and snatch them up when you find them.

A great place to look for good cigars at reasonable prices is the internet. Many internet cigar dealers buy their product in bulk. Because they buy for less, they sell for less. In essence they can be more competitive because they pass a portion of their savings along to you, their client. The end result is good cigars at great prices, not cheap cigars selling at a price that's reasonable for a tube of machine made mystery tobacco. Understand this difference and you, my friend, are a cigar connoisseur.
